What is a reader

A read-aloud device reads out printed text. Immediately after taking a picture, it is read aloud for a few seconds by a clear voice. Different versions are available, including a mobile model for use at home and on the move, and a larger model for use on a table, where the buttons and speaker are significantly larger.

What is the Orcam MyEye Pro


The Orcam MyEye Pro is a compact and portable read-aloud device that simply clips magnetically onto a spectacle frame, giving users the freedom to use their hands. Besides the read-aloud function, this device offers several additional features. It can recognise products by shape or barcode, identify faces, distinguish money and name colours. For those who only need the read-aloud function, there is the Orcam MyEye Smart. This device can read text aloud from paper and a screen, both at short and long distances, e.g. for reading signs.
